We Keep Our Promises

At Silver Lining Senior Care, our primary focus is on keeping our patients healthy and independent at home.

Home is a place where we feel relaxed, comfortable and connected to our community. We know how important that can be to overall health and happiness, which is why we will help you remain in your home as long as it’s safe and practical.

The essence of our vision is that quality care begins in the home. Our caregivers focus on keeping patients happy, healthy and safe in their homes. This reduces the need for acute care and defers admission to long-term care facilities – without jeopardizing overall health outcomes.

Our homecare aides are uniquely positioned to identify changes in a client’s condition and notify healthcare case managers so that an action plan can be implemented. This early intervention often averts the need for longer, more costly acute care. This is how our attentive in-home care, combined with medical services when appropriate, lowers costs for Dual Eligible and Medicaid populations while also improving their quality of life.

Funding Sources

Silver Lining Senior Care accepts reimbursement from a large group of payers. These include Medicaid programs, Veterans Benefits, other government program, and Long-Term Care Insurance. We also accept Private Pay

Silver Lining works with clients and their families to provide home care services on a Private Pay, or self-pay, basis. Sometimes, Private Pay becomes necessary for services that are not covered by insurance, a third party payer source or Medicaid. Private Pay services can be customized to meet your family’s needs.

There are many different Medicaid programs available. These include programs that support the needs of individuals meeting financial eligibility criteria, as well as those designed to serve the needs of patients with special needs.

The Veterans Aid and Attendance Pension Benefit, provided by the Veterans Administration, offers benefits for veterans and surviving spouses who require assistance with activities of daily living. Silver Lining can work with you to determine eligibility of these pension benefits.

Long Term Care Insurance pays for the treatment of ailing individuals who need medical care over an extended period. It can help you cover the cost of in-home assistance, adult day care, assisted living services or nursing home care

Workers Compensation often covers long term personal care and nursing services authorized by a physician as a result of an approved injury claim. To ensure your insurance covers the services authorized, please contact us so that we may verify coverage limitations.
